What is the difference between first and third party cookies?

Whether a cookie is first or third party depends on which site the cookie comes from. First party cookies are those set by us when you visit any of our sites. All other cookies are third party cookies. We use both first party and third party cookies, which you can read more about in our list of the cookies below.

How do we use cookies and what do they do?

The cookies used on this site fall into one of three categories, based on the International Chamber of Commerce guide to cookie categories. They are Strictly Necessary, Performance and Functionality. There is a fourth called Profile and Targeting, but we do not use this category of cookie on any of our sites.

Is there anything else I should know about cookies?
